Research On The Relationship Between Patent Capability And Innovation Performance

With the advent of knowledge economy, market competition is intense with each passing day, and the patent has become the focus of competition. At present, although the patent of scientific input, output increases ceaselessly, but the innovation performance but not with increased and improved patent. This study from the enterprise ability theory and knowledge management theory perspective, the patent ability connotation and characteristics on the innovation mechanism to study, has a certain theoretical value and practical significance.This research is based on the related literature domestic and abroad reading analysis based on the first patent competence, innovation performance and environmental dynamism into the regression model in the study of. And through the use of enterprise interview, questionnaire survey, data analysis and other research methods to collect192domestic enterprises effective questionnaire, the use of SPSS18.0on the proposed relationship model and empirically test. Through the empirical study this paper concludes as follows:First, the study based on enterprise competence theory and the theory of knowledge management capability of the patents are divided into four dimensions, and through empirical analysis that the patent ability and innovation is positively related to performance. Patent capability of the four dimensions on the performance of product innovation has positive influence on creativity; patent, patent protection and patent management capability on technology innovation performance has a significant positive influence.Second, This article will introduce the variable environment dynamic model, and verified its patent competence and innovation performance moderating effect. Environmental dynamics of this regulation role in the manifestation of patent operation ability and the performance of product innovation, patent protection ability and the performance of product innovation, patent management ability and the performance of product innovation and patent management ability and technology innovation performance.Third, in the paper, introduces the control variable, and through empirical analysis that the scale of the enterprise is the effect of a patent competence and innovation performance between the main factors, the results of this study show that large-scale enterprises pay more attention to environmental changes and can through the patent application of quick response.To sum up, this study further deepen the connotation of ability for future patents, patent capability laid theoretical foundation, and clearly the patent ability on innovation performance influencing path, for enterprise patent competence and promotion has important direct sense, to the leader of enterprise patent strategy and planning and implementation are important function of reference.
