Since the1970s, farmer specialized cooperatives as a connected system of small farmers and big market innovative organizational models have sprung up in this era. Professional farmer cooperatives as a link to social service, significantly improve the income of farmers, enhance the efficiency of agricultural operations, improving the competitiveness of farmers in the market. In this paper, to carry out primary research on the basis of professional development of cooperatives, combined with China’s Loess Plateau semi-arid areas of special natural and human factors, scientifically examine the comprehensive benefits of farmersprofessional cooperatives and make relevant policy recommendations.This paper first introduces the research background significance, economic theory analysis of the literature review and professional cooperatives; Secondly, the Analytic Hierarchy Process, comparative analysis, logical framework structure, expert consultation method. Loess Plateau professional farmers cooperatives benefit assessment index system and rely on secondary data and survey data based index weights were determined to establish a comprehensive model. Finally, the typical village of Yuzhong County and Yongdeng example professional cooperatives, economic, social and ecological benefits of integrated assessment study and concluded:professional cooperatives bring economic, social and ecological benefits to the farmers, to solve the farmers operate independently encountered many obstacles.
