Private construction enterprises have sprung up since Reform and Opening Up. However, many of them had exited the market only after their3to5years" existence because of different reasons. The abnormal close of enterprises would bring a lot of sequela to society. Nowadays, there has no effective way or guidance aiming at the development for the private construction enterprise. The current International economy has been gradually out of the woods of the subprime mortgages crisis and began to recover slowly, and the domestic economy will continue developing rapidly under the continuing reform put forward by Chinese new government. According to our country’s plan, the future development of urbanization in our country will provide a huge market prospect for the construction industry. In addition, private construction enterprises will face a new development fastigium. How to healthily promote private construction enterprises to develop has become a focus topic. Based on it, this paper took FX private construction enterprise as object of study, and discussed its future development strategy in details.The writer introduced the FX private construction enterprise’s present situation and the internal and external environment in details at first, and then analyzed these using the theory related to the strategic management. Firstly, this paper used PEST model to analyzing the macro environment of FX Enterprise in four aspects----political, economical, social&cultural and technological environment one by one. In addition, we did competition environment analysis. Secondly, the VRIO model is used to analyzing the enterprise’s existing resources and related capabilities to discovering the core competitiveness of FX private enterprise. Based on the above analysis results, the writer did comprehensive analysis on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the internal and external environment of FX private construction enterprise with the SWOT strategy analysis model, and draw the conclusion that SO strategy is the best strategy for the development of FX private construction enterprise from the evaluated results about the four alternative strategies using the quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). On this basis, the specific strategic measures of the development of FX private construction enterprise was put forward by the enterprise level, competition level and function level, which included five aspects----product diversification, regional focus, the core cultural construction, talents reserves, concrete strategy and brand development. Finally, this paper analyzed the risk for carrying out the strategies and implemented special measures for kinds of risk.FX Private Construction Enterprise is in important period of rapid development, and it has the typical characteristics of private construction enterprises at the same time. This paper determined the important strategic measures for the development of the enterprise in the future to make sure that the enterprise has scientific strategy orientation, clear strategy guidance and prospective risk controlling of strategy implementation, for future operation and management. The analysis in this paper has generalization performance for our country’s private construction enterprises. Meanwhile, this study has certain reference value for private construction enterprises to formulating development strategy.
