With the end of the term of protection of WTO in2006, together with the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis in Europe and the rapid decline of purchasing power, as well as the full liberalization of the market, big companies and big foreign trade enterprises flocked in, resulting in an unprecedented fierce domestic consumer market. Small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises are facing the dual pressure of competition at home and abroad, resulting with many small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises having dropped orders. Due to lack of funds, so a large number of small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises went bankrupt. For its part, the transition economies and the dual economy as background, correct understanding of the problems faced by small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises, and actively create a favorable environment for the development and opportunities, ensure a healthy development, to promote the healthy and sustainable development of our national economy is significant.This thesis made a comprehensive analysis of domestic and international trade for small and medium enterprises present and inadequate review of relevant theory on the basis of previous studies. This thesis made a more comprehensive, systematic analysis on Chinese small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises competitive environment. In Epworth’s electric car company is a typical case of small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises through the status quo and development trend analysis, the use of strategic management theory and strategic model, the Epworth’s electric car company in which external macro-environment, a comprehensive analysis of industry competition. At the same time to evaluate the situation of internal resources, and through the SWOT method, a comprehensive analysis of the company’s electric car Epworth opportunities and threats. Found Epworth electric car trade companies exist in human resource management and appointment system is imperfect, and in marketing has its own uniqueness. Then, based on Epworth’s electric car company’s value chain analysis and SWOT analysis, the use of quantitative planning evaluation matrix for Epworth electric vehicle development strategy of foreign trade companies were selected analysis to determine the Epworth electric vehicle development strategy of foreign trade companies, the next step should be taken to differentiate strategic programs. The regional market positioning in the market should be based on the recent ASEAN, the Middle East, focusing on market development, concerns the Latin American market, selective development in Western Europe, South Asia market customers. Meanwhile, to ensure the completion of strategic objectives, Epworth’s electric car companies should closely rely on their own conditions and resource advantages, from the optimization of organizational structure, strengthening operational management, improving human resources, strengthen brand building, strategic implementation and improvement.Finally, this thesis summary the problems faced by small and medium sized foreign trade company and put forward corresponding measures based on the foreign trade companies in Epworth electric car, and efforts to implement the principles apply their knowledge, hoping that through this research, foreign trade companies for Epworth electric car and similar small and medium sized foreign trade enterprises in the future development of the practice of giving guidance.
