Sichuan Aba Tibetan nomadic pastoral areas located in the eastern Tibetan Plateau。 That’s a fragile ecological environment and main population is Tibetan. Nomadic system has running a very long history there. From nomadic to sedentary and urbanization, completely different transformation with the farming civilization take place. Urbanization at there shown many unique features.Inspired by a approach of modernisation and modernization, the the Aba Tibetan nomadic pastoral urbanization is rapidly advancing. How it is process? Which factors are blocking or pushing this process? How is the feelings of the people in the process of urbanization? These issues related to the success or failure of the urbanization, related to the sustainable development of pastoral areas, even related to the development and stability of the Aba nomadic pastoral areas.This paper researched people’s livelihoods,feelings,aspirations in the process of urbanization. Based on the push-pull theory, I Analysis of the impact of the four push-pull force in Aba Tibetan nomadic pastoral areas. In the process of urbanization, there are impact four migration:local rural to urban migration; other places to the local towns migration; local towns to other places migration; local villages other places migration. The four migration has two effects:pull effect and reduce effect. Local rural to urban migration and other places to the local towns migration and local villages other places migration represent pull effect,as local towns to other places migration represent reduce effect. Nine factors of difficulties and resistance in the urbanization process are found.Traditional nomadic livestocks and poor level of basic education is the greatest difficulty in these factors. The paper argues that several policy showed been taken to strengthen in the area of education, livable environment, tourism, culture keepting, traditional production industry, IT service.This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter describes the background, concepts and other basic information. The second chapter reviews the history of nomadic pastoral areas in the Aba Tibetan nomads to settle Island urbanization process and the status of the urbanization of the Aba Tibetan nomadic pastoral areas, Aba Tibetan nomadic pastoral areas, the level of urbanization in the initial stage of a final conclusion or early acceleration phase. Then in the third and fourth chapter,difficulties and obstacles in migration the and push-pull forces are analyzed. Advices are given in the fifth chapter as a summary.
