Along with economical growth, the improvement of living standard and the paid annual vacation system, social classes which have the ability to go on vacation travel in our society are expanding. Due to the tourist consuming demand upgrading gradually and the recreational tourism demand increasing day by day, recreational tourism has ushered in the golden period of development. High quality holiday environment, diversified and high-grade sports tourism products, comfortable and thoughtful tour services, lake tourism has become a new trend in the development of leisure vacation travel.Anhui province is a major tourist province, the current tourism development in Anhui province is undergoing transformation that the tourism development is changing from the single sightseeing tourism to the integrated development of sightseeing, leisure and vacationing at the same time. The call for a comfort, culture and experience from tourists has gradually increased. In the current situation of economic civilization and tourism development, lake tourism is confronted with great opportunities for development. With its high quality tourism resources and good ecological environment, lake tourism will become the main target market of Anhui province’s recreational tourism. Anhui province have rich lake resoures and huge development potential, We should take full advantage of the numerous lakes resource in Anhui province and develop a high level of recreational tourism products to integrate the Yangtze River Delta tourism market speedily, it will have important strategic and practical significance to Anhui province tourism development.In this paper, by adopting the combination of theory and empirical research methods, this paper had done an in-depth and insightful research on relevant problems of development of lake tourism in Anhui province. The paper analyzed the present situation of the lakes tourism in Anhui province, and clarified the importance and necessity of development lake tourism, Based on the ASEB analyzing Anhui province lake tourism, this paper is to discover the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the visitors experience in from the aspects of the activity, environment, experience, interests in visitors’ experiences, to Wanfo lake Scenic as an example of empirical research, At last, I put forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the sustainable development of lake tourism in Anhui province.The paper is divided into seven chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, introducing the research background and significance of the article, domestic and international progress in the study, research methods, research ideas and research innovation. The second chapter is lake tourism theory research, about related concepts, and it put forward the relevant theoretical basis of lake tourism development research. The third chapter is basically the overall analysis of the lake tourism resources of Anhui province, research development stage of Anhui province lake tourism, through which we can define the key focus and development strategy of Anhui province lake tourism. The fourth chapter applied ASEB method to analyze Anhui province’s lake tourism development situation, combined with interviews and online comments, comprehensive analysis and understanding the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Anhui province lake tourism development. The fifth chapter used Wan Fohu scenic area as an example for empirical research, from the microscopic view, analyzing the resources superiority and development of Wan Fohu scenic area, and comparing it with famous lake Qian daohu scenic area, It points out the existing problems in the development process. The sixth chapter is the lake tourism development strategy research of Anhui province. This part points out the future development direction of lake tourism is a combination of leisure and holiday tourism, and put forward the development principle and development strategy of lake tourism in Anhui province. The seventh chapter is conclusion, which summarizes the main conclusions of the paper, and points out the shortcoming in the study and future research priorities.
