In the crucial moment ofbalancing eating and building, reasonably planning rural construction land becomesmore important.This paper takes the new round of land use planning as a background and takesFengnan county as an example, technically study and reasonably analyze the majorproblems of rural residential land in land use planning.Variation of time series1997~2009of rural settlement land in Fengnan isanalyzed in this paper. From1997to2009, the sum and per capita of rural settlementland in Fengnan increased with fluctuations, situation of per capita construction landin2009exceed74.73%of the national standards. These cases are closely related tothe level of agricultural productivity and rural socio-economic, degree of urbanizationand government’s macro-control policies.On the basis of analysis the changes in rural population and socio-economic dataover the years, calculate the potential and anticipation of rural residential land basedon the two different major, get the potential value is4995.87hm2, estimate it willdrops to6415.50hm2in2015,6270.00hm2in2020.
