Various monitoring information and forecastproducts appear in an endless stream and increase exponentially with time with therapid development of the Chinese meteorological cause. It is essential that a weatherforecast operational platform which could merge a large amount of materials, queryfunctions, fully function and intensive and efficient because of fewer personnel, muchtask and the amount of information.Weather forecast operational platform of Yangquan is an integrated applicationplatform which could query and analysis data and product information, processis dataand manufacture services products. The system makes full use of Internet resourcesrelying on the existing meteorological network. It apply in modern databasemanagement technology, accessing to technology, communication technology and C/S(client/server) architecture. The system uses Visual Basic6as a developmentlanguage and SQL Server database as the data and products storage systems.First of all, the thesis introduces the research background, the significance andvalue as well as the status at home and abroad of the system. Then it introduces therelated technology and relevant meteorological knowledge which system developmentused. It clears the function and non-functional target the platform development anddesign a system architecture according to the forecasters need which could query theinformation and the service content and propose solutions at last. The thesis introducesand analysis the key technology and the program flow that the establishment of thedatabase system the realization of system function. All the data and information couldbe process in the background, display directly and updated automatically. Weatherforecast operational platform of Yangquan realizes many function such as displying ofprecipitation and temperature data of regional weather station, drawing of three linedrawings of national observation station, displying of Doppler weather radar echo inTaiyuan, querying of data of the automatic meteorological observation station inprovince, querying of all kind forecast information of Nationnal Meteorological Center, Meteorological Center of Shanxi province and other city around Yangquan. In addtionall kind forecast verification such as guidance forecast and refined forecast whichreleased could be queried and compared. Finally the thesis introduces the result ofsystem test, summarize the finished state briefly and put forward the next step workplan. |
