With the development of the application technology on satellite navigation, using GPS to measure the gesture of carrier has gradually become a new research direction of GPS application.This paper is based on FPGA and GPS receiver as a measuring platform which is used for catching and dealing the signal of GPS,and the main way is using carrier phase differential principle and pseudorange differential principle to get the second gesture of carrier.First,this article introduces the main components and their functions of GPS satellite, then introduces the principle of GPS satellite navigation and positioning, and so on. According to the principle, it makes a brief analysis of carrier gesture measurement at present.In the process of making hardware design, this paper mainly introduces the design of GPS receiver and the FPGA in details. First,it introduces various properties and characteristics of the LEA-4t chip,which is the core of the GPS receiver.Then it desribes the Major part s including the antenna module, power module, and serial port communication module etc,and then talks about the the process of the printed circuit board and the matcheing resistance of the receiving terminal design, and there is a detailed description and the actual design parameters. This paper has a detailed description and the actual design parameters. With a minimum FPGA system, the hardware platform of the satellite signal acquisition and processing has done,In the aspect of software design, it uses C language programming to realize the collection of the satellite signals such as the carrier phase data, ephemeris data and pseudorange data,then embeds the MC8051-IP core in the FPGA to simulation and implementation. Finally it uses the valid data to solve gestuer angle and complete a full system to ceceive and read datas for the gesture measurement.In the last part of this paper, it makes a brief summary and give a expection of the work.
