Several decades, Nuclear power has experienced tortuous development, is now inmany ways to obtain the very good use, especially in the field of nuclear power generation,greenhouse gas and energy shortage problems for all countries to solve a lot of trouble. Butas the nuclear power is more and more widely, and gradually rise in number of nuclearpower plants, nuclear waste disposal problems become increasingly serious. Due to thenuclear waste processing is a complicated system engineering, some nuclear waste (such ashigh-level radioactive waste or spent fuel) need after thousands or even tens of thousandsof years of self decay completely. People initially to save these nuclear waste, or dumpingof buried directly. With the improvement of people know, understand the nuclear wastehuge potential threats, start to look for better solution.This article mainly embarks from the disposal of problems and difficulties existing inour country, from the laws, regulations, policies, regulations, cultural awareness, publicparticipation and site selection and technology, etc., using literature review andcomparative study, draw lessons from the world nuclear power development power ofnuclear waste management experience, puts forward a series of Suggestions andcountermeasures on waste management in China: to speed up the legislation, set upmanagement system, forming the safety culture of waste management in advance,popularizing knowledge of universal nuclear processing systems and mechanisms,establish waste fund management company, to carry out the site selection, as soon aspossible to strengthen transportation management and speed up the cultivation of talents.Hope that through the above Suggestions, it can help nuclear waste management in China.
