ARM embedded system is integrated the technologies of ARM and embedded operatingsystem of the new processor system, with its particular application oriented, strongprofessionalism, the characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, are widely used inindustrial control and communication, etc. ARM embedded system provides a flexible andconvenient for numerical control technology, in industrial environment medium-andlong-term stable and reliable working of microminiature cheap control scheme. Itscharacteristic is highly automated, fast response speed, etc., very suitable for the requirementof real-time and multitasking. This article aims to break traditional numerical control systembased on PC and8/16bits MCU, ARM embedded system was applied to the numerical controllathe control system, which is of low cost, high performance CNC system research is a newattempt.This article chose arm9-based AT91SAM9G45processor for the kernel and concisemodularization real-time Windows CE embedded system as a development platform, usingdigital signal controller DSPIC33EP as driven by ac servo motor controller, the designconforms to the technical development of numerical control lathe control system.The focus of this paper includes two aspects, ARM embedded lathe hardware andsoftware design of the system and the research of control methods of the digital signal controlchip DSPIC33EP. Specific content as follows:1, on nc lathe system based on ARM embedded hardware design: including the ARMcontroller connected to the digital signal to control signal circuit, main control circuit,differential input and output circuit, drive circuit and the limit of encoder wheel/VGA signalcircuit, touch screen display circuit, Ethernet front-end ports and USB interface circuit designand power supply circuit.2, the software of the control system based on Windows CE. Introduces the Windows CEsystem characteristics, system structure and software development process, and control theman-machine interface control system for the design and implementation of the embeddedsystem real-time multitasking capabilities.3, control of digital signal chip DSPIC33EP introduces how to control the servo, thispaper expounds the "ARM+DSPIC33EP model" for motion control method andimplementation process, interpolation in CNC lathe control system software design, and hascarried on the debugging of the whole circuit of the hardware.Finally, summarizes the research contents of this project, and the development of nc lathesystem based on ARM is discussed.
