Liaoning coastal economic zone in China’s Bohai Rim and Northeast important junction, Under the jurisdiction of administrative regions of the six coastal cities including Dalian, Dandong, Jinzhou, Yingkou, Panjin, Huludao. A land area of56,500km2. Total length of2920km, Sea area of about68000km2, Further expansion of the previously proposed "Five Points and one line" Developing strategic planning range.Liaoning coastal economic zone as a whole, the development of regional integrated into national strategies, the region’s economic construction to speed up the process, the resulting environmental problems have become increasingly prominent. We must seek a new development model. At present, the development and utilization of new energy, the path of a low carbon economy, solve the problem of the ecological environment is an important means of implementing sustainable development strategies.This article from the perspective of sustainable development, the successful practice of the construction of domestic and international economic zone, combined with the characteristics of the development of six cities in Liaoning coastal economic zone, take a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis methods, analysis the problems in development of Liaoning coastal economic zone and the impact on the ecological environment, and in accordance with the results of the analysis put forward reasonable suggestions. The author believes that the transformation of economic development, vigorously develop solar and other new energy industry, has an important significance for the promotion of Liaoning coastal economic zone development of economic and environmental coordination.
