With the supporting of the national policy and capital, after many domestic enterprisesbringing in,digesting and absorbing new technology, capturing the key points, the technicalresearch of electronic jacquard machine has been improved a lot. But applying the traditionalstatic analysis method can’t fulfill reliability requirements with the increasing rate of jacquardmachine.In order to increase relevant reliabilities while the speed of jacquard machine increases,thethought was designed referring electronic jacquard machine shedding mechanism as researchingobject. During the research applying the virtual prototyping technology into the sheddingmechanism, promoting technology innovation, increasing Varieties, improving the quality andOptimize the value chain,thus Improve the product technical level and added value.A general shedding mechanism designing goal was put forward on the basis of the motioncharacteristics of existing shedding mechanism. Crank and connection mechanism andconjugated cam were designed to adapt the narrow and wide weaving on the consideration ofinterests of enterprises and differences of weaving fabric. Software MatLab was select as acomputational tool to determine the design parameters based on the characteristics of noabsolutely static time which the shedding of Crank and connection mechanism has and on thecondition of ensuring the transmission efficiency, so that a longer relative static time formechanism can be satisfied. Conjugated cam is a common mechanism textile machinery, whichhas a strong ability to adapt the fabric, but a high cost of Manufacturing. A secondarydevelopment interface was developed using VBA in SolidWorks and the same designing way ofmain and auxiliary curve Suitable for manufacturing which rely on those characteristics. Thenthe3D model of conjugate cam was established, the cam mechanism was simulated using of themotion module, thus came the movement curve of principal and vice pendulum rods, which judges the design of the cam curve whether contents the requirements or not and makesmechanism improvements and data output more convenient at the same time.The models of two mechanisms were built using3D software SolidWorks and combining withthe appearance and safety coefficient of information the factory provided and structure size ofshedding mechanism of crank and connection mechanism and conjugated cam. Virtual prototypewas established in ADAMS in Parasolid format, the dynamics analysis was done and the resultswere got. At last the flexible model was established on the simulation platform withinSolidWorks, ADAMS and ANSYS. The key mechanism was done the finite element analysis,which can be regarded as the reference for further subject research.
