With the fast development of the electronic information technology and economy,thepace of the electronic products replacement is faster and faster.The wide application ofelectronic products bring convenience,but also bring heavy burdens for environment.E-wastehas become one of the fastest growing pollutants in the world.Since2003,China entry intothe update peak of household appliances,millions of old appliances been discarded;At thesame time,every year,our country had to accommodate nearly70%of electronic waste in theworld.The electronic waste’s ingredients is complicated.If the e-waste been disposalldeundeserved,not only can seriously damage the ecological human health and environment,butalso will cause tremendous waste of resources.To fundamentally curb the growing of electronic waste pollution,and carries on thereasonable use,the legislation is key.The legal systems of electronic and electrics equipmentwaste is not perfect in china.The objective of this paper is to present a legal approach to solvethe problem of the electronic waste pollution.It is divided into five sections:The first part is the foreword,this part introduces the research background、purpose、method.The second chapter is the overview of electronic wastes.It is mainly defines conceptof electronic waste,summarizes the characteristics and listes the difference from other solidwastes.The paper introduces the e-waste recycling disposal status and the specific hazards ofe-waste.The third chapter introduces a number of laws and regulations,including Solid WastePollution Prevention Law、Cleaner Production Promotion Law ect.and points out the defects.The fourth chapter introduces international and foreign electronic waste legislation.It mainlyintroduces the Control of Transboundary Movement of Hazardous Waste Basel Convention.Itintroduces the relevant legal system of many countries:European、Japan、the United Statesand other countries.In the end of this chapter,it summarizes the final legislation and otherinternational convention,which can be used for reference.With actual conditions,the fifthchapter puts forward improvement suggestions of e-waste pollution prevention and control inchina based on the learning of foreign advanced experience in legislation.The Conclusionsummarize the main content and research paper deficiency,forecast the trend of electronicwaste legal system perfect development....
