Siwear thermostat fiber belongs to the functional viscose fiber, that, phasechange thermal storage materials technology and fiber weaving technology werecombined to develop a high-tech product. The fiber is with the functions of heatstorage and exothermic bidirectional temperature adjusting. The purpose of thisresearch is that the Siwear thermostat fiber was used in the research and developmentof knitted products, to improve the added value of the knitted products, to expand themarket of thermostat knitted products and meet the needs of the people for thefunctionaltextiles growing.The topic is chosen Siwear thermostat fibers blended yarn production by HebeiShengyuan Textile Co., Ltd., yarn fineness is14.8tex, the group was divided into50percent of the the viscose Jisiweier thermostat fiber and50%combed cotton fibers.Beginning with the basic performance of Siwear fiber and its blended yarn,morphology, composition, mechanical properties of Siwear fiber were studied andanalyzed, mechanical properties, yarn evenness, twist, moisture content, acidresistance, alkali resistance, and heat resistance of Siwear fiber blended yarn weretested.Based on the understanding of Siwear fiber and its blended yarn, stitch andknitting process of Siwear fiber knitted fabric were designed. Six kinds of knittingproducts were developed through knitting on STOLL CMS530HP computer fullyautomatic flat knitting machine. And their basic performance test results show thatSiwear fiber blended yarn is more suitable to develop knitted fabric.In order to facilitate subsequent bleaching and dyeing process go smoothly,Siwear fiber knitted fabric were scoured, the process is: NaOH8g/L, penetratingagent JFC5g/L, sodium sulfite2g/L, temperature95℃, time2hour, liquor ratio1:30.After scouring, using3g/L acetic acid neutralize10min in80℃, then wash and dry.After this process, the whiteness of the knitted fabric is increased, absorbency isimproved greatly, and bursting strength is down slightly.Using hydrogen peroxide as the bleaching agent to research and analyze thebleaching property of Siwear fiber knitted fabric. With whiteness and bursting strength as evaluation index, utilizing the single factor analytic method to analyze thequantity of hydrogen peroxide, temperature, time and pH value. Then with orthogonalanalytic method to determine the optimal process for hydrogen peroxide bleaching:the quantity of hydrogen peroxide7g/L, Sodium silicate2g/L, scouring agent5g/L,temperature95℃, pH value11, time70min, liquor ratio1:30.Choosing reactive dyes to dye Siwear fiber knitted fabric and dye process isanalysized. With dye-uptake and K/S value as evaluation index, utilizing the singlefactor analytic method analyze the quantities of Nacl and trisodium, the temperatureand time of fixation. Then with orthogonal analytic method to determine the optimalprocess for dyeing: reactive brilliant red KD-8B dye1%(o.w.f), quantity of Nacl40g/L, quantity of trisodium40g/L, fixation temperature90℃, fixation time45min,dyeing time30min, dyeing temperature60℃, liquor ratio1:50. And, color fastnesstesting results suggest that the fastness to washing, fastness to perspiration andfastness to crocking all meet the quality requirement of knitted fabric well.The durability, heat-moisture comfort, rigidity-flexibility, dimensional stabilityand functional property were tested, specifically includes bursting strength, airpermeability, moisture permeability, heat retention, absorbency, rigidity-flexibilityanti-pilling tendency, wrinkle resistance, draping property, deodorization property andthermostat performance. The results show that all the properties of Siwear fiberknitted fabrics meet the wearability requirements of knitted fabric well, and itsthermostat to achievere quirement, and suitable for the development of functionalknitted apparel.Fuzzy-integrative evaluation method was used to the comprehensive evaluationof their wearability, and came to the merits of their wearability.
