The Improvement Of HGZ Reinforcement Cage Seam Welder Control System Technology

Seam Welder is dedicated to the appliance for the bell and spigot of weld and flatshaped steel reinforcement framework, mainly applied to the production of theferroconcrete drain-pipe. Combining with our domestic market features the HGZ SteelFramed Seam Weld is newly developed Reinforcement Cage Weld equipment, and it isone of the dominant products of Cangzhou Huaqiang Constraction Material MachineryFactory in Hebei Province.This research is aimed at the major problems existing in the previous Seam Welder.The major problems are: mainly depending on relay control, the mechanical transmissionpart is filled with complicated wiring connection and low control precision; the weldtrigger circuit can not shut off in time with slow response; with a poor reliability, the poorsoldering and solder skips could not be monitored in time. According to those problems,the research made several improvements on the control system of the HGZ Seam Welder:It has confirmed the PLC as the core of the control system, and done the modelselection of the surrounded equipments which mainly including touch screen, PLC,frequency converter, gear motor, encoder, A/D conversion module and the currenttransformer etc. The control part of the machine driven system adopts the frequencyconverter, reducer and the encoder then constitutes PID Closed-loop Inverse FeedbackControl System which greatly enhanced the welding precision. For the welding circuit part,it adopts fully digital7302welding controller with photoelectricity switch, weldingtransformer, controllable Silicon components and circulating water cooling system etc.which could switch off in time and the welding electric current can be precisely adjusted.The human-machine interface part applies the F940-GOT Touch Screen and also adoptsthe Designer2software to creat optimized designs in order to make the control interfacemore friendly and distinct.According to the revised design and tests mentioned above, HGZ Seam Welder gainshigher accuracy, with a strong anti-jamming capability, accurate and solid welding, lessspatter and long lifespan. It is the upgraded products among the similar seam welders andit performances better than other products of the similar kind.
