A water-soluble blocked diisocyanate monomer formaldehyde wrinkle finishing agent was synthesized by capping with sodium bisulfite in this subject. Isophorone diisocyanate and sodium hydrogen sulfite were selected as main raw materials, water and ethanol as main solvent for synthesis. The blocked diisocyanate monomer was used for the cotton fabric wrinkle finishing, it can improve the fabric wrinkle resistance.Using solvent-capped IPDI with sodium bisulfite, during the capping process, the factors including capping temperature, concentration of the sodium hydrogen sulfite aqueous, amount of ethanol, the ratio of the sodium hydrogen sulfite with-NCO and the amount of ethyl acetate were studied and obtained the optimal synthesis process, while deblocked temperature and solubility of the product were researched. During the wrinkle finishing process, firstly the fabric was finished by using non-blocked IPDI and ethyl acetate as the solvent. The factors including IPDI concentration, the concentration of polyethylene glycol1000, catalyst concentration, curing temperature, curing time were studied to optimize the finishing process and the reason for ineffective anti-wrinkle was analyzed through the IPDI reaction rate and the rate of the fabric weight. During the finishing process with the homemade blocked IPDI finishing agent, the factors including the curing temperature, the concentration of finishing agent, curing time, the concentration of polyethylene glycol1000were explored and the optimal finishing process was obtained, while the effect on the anti-wrinkle properties of the fabric of the finishing by compounding the blocked IPDI with the citric.The experimental results show that the fabric wrinkle resistance was increased through finishing with the blocked IPDI. And the crease recovery angle of the fabric is higher by compounding the blocked IPDI with citric, while the whiteness and the strength retention is higher.
