Ecological footprint theory provides a method to measure and compare of regional demands with supplies. This method has been extensively application. It is uniform data sources and unreasonable model parameters that affect the reliability and comparability of the ecological footprint study in domestic cities. It is noteworthy research to get a reliable source of data and model parameters calculation method. In this paper, introduce concepts and methods of current ecological footprint; proposal the ecological footprint model parameter data sources and land area data adjustment method base on comparative method; propose the yield factor calculation program in theoretical analysis method; Take Yangzhou City as an example, to analysis it’s ecological footprint from2004to2010and comparing whit Jiangsu Province, China, the world’s per capita Ecological footprints. The main conclusions of this paper as follows.(1) Domestic ecological footprint data sources suggestionThe land area data from the department of land acquisition; Biological products production data obtained from the regional "Statistical Yearbook" as well as the corresponding "Rural Statistical Yearbook"; acquisition of energy consumption data need to combine around the "Statistical Yearbook" and "China Energy Yearbook; the global equivalence factor from "Living Plant Report" matches the study period; the global average productivity data from the Food and Agriculture Organization as well as current research of global average productive.(2) Domestic ecologically productive land area adjustment programsCorner classified as arable land; forest of woodland area; direct access to pasture grassland area; summary all kinds of water area data obtained water area, or access to other water area data in a given year; summation all types of construction land to get construction land data, or direct access to the construction area of the land department statistics data.(3) The yield factor calculation schemeThe amount of arable land actually produced translation of calorific value to calculate the yield factor of arable land. Take net primary productivity to calculate woodland, grassland, water yield factor.(4) Conclusions of ecological footprint study of Yangzhou cityYangzhou is in a serious state of unsustainable development during2004-2010; ecological environment is less secure; Yangzhou efficiency of resource use has increased substantially, but failed to curb the deterioration of the state of unsustainable development.Comparing whit Jiangsu Province, China and global. Yangzhou sustainable development status better than the average level of Jiangsu Province, but not up to national and global average; The ecological environmental risks more serious than national average and the global average; efficiency of resource use, lower than the average level of Jiangsu and global. It is the advantages of the region that efficient resource management and use lead to sustainable development. Yangzhou need to optimize the industrial structure, change the mode of economic growth, to further enhance the efficiency of resource consumption. It could be sustainable development with restricting population growth, promoting a healthy and civilized consumption habits against with extravagance and waste.
