With the development of manufacturing industry, hydraulic technology has widely used in all walks of life and become the main technology of transmission and control. Hydraulic valves that control the flow and the pressure of emulsion and the direction of the oil and liquids in the hydraulic system,also play an important role in the emulsion pump and are some of the most important elements. In recent years,due to the rapid development of China’s coal industry scale,the nominal displacement of Hydraulic support equipment named emulsion pump are required biger and biger,and the nominal pressure are required higher and higher.In order to achieve a certain displacement and pressure, the characteristics of each element must be considered and arrangement of hydraulic system must be reasonable when design parameters of emulsion pump. As the main components of emulsion entry and exit, wheather suction and drainage valve’s structures are reasonable or not directly affects the smooth liquids inhalation and the stability of the working fluids flow field. Therefore, the design of the suction and drainage valve’s surface section shape is a very valuable research topic. The followings are mainly done in this paper around this topic:1. The suction and drainage valve’s working principle and the applications in emulsion pump were analyzed. The pressure’s change in valve’s flow field was described. Simultaneously the applied mechanics basis and control equations used in the analysis of the flow model were introduced.2.Through the structure、classification, principle、performance requirements etc of the suction and drainage valve, the failure mechanism of suction and drainage valves were analyzed. And the elimination measures in principle for emulsion pump’s hydraulic clamping, impact, cavitation were put forward.The pumping station’s suction pressure and the discharge pressure at normal work were analyzed.Through the suction and drainage valve’s assembly drawing and according to the main technical parameters of the emulsion pump, the sizes of the main structures and assembly relations of suction and drain valve were calculated. And the material selection principle was presented. Based on the requirements of the special working condition of the large displacement、low speed and heavy loading, the valve core’s materials and their main technical requirements and heat treatment methods were determined.3. Applying the Solidworks for3d models and combining with the actual working condition to simplify the models, the models were imported into the Fluent flow field analysis software. The characteristics of flow field of five kinds of valve cores’ structures were simulated. Stream function contour maps and velocity contours and pressure cloud images simulation data were angles extracted. By comparing and conbining with the practical examples,the most appropriate form of the valve core’s surface were concluded. And the section parameters optimization were prepared.4. After optimum cross-sectional shapes were obtained the section surface parameters were optimized. The minimum differential pressure of valve’s flow field as the optimization goal and through the repeated simulations and analyzes, the optimal parameters combination were found.
