This paper is mainly to analyzed S6H mill.’S6’ as a new type of rolling mill is designed and manufactured by the SUNDWIG, its listed only ten years, technology is still in an immature stage, baosteel stainless steel rolling mill ’S6’ was completed in2009installation debugging, but not through the FAT test in the end, according to the current situation of mill ’S6’ operation, rolling state very unstable,it can’t keep a stable rolling state in big screw down rate、high speed and large quantities of cases. At present, The best achievements to produce only for more than4000tons, but cut off the rolls and broken belt frequently, has become the bottleneck and the important problems of the growth of stainless steel benefit now.The plate shape control problem of Cold rolled strip production is complex and difficult problem to solve. Hydraulic roll gap control system is the key link of tandem cold rolling mill thickness accuracy of strip steel, hydraulic screw down system is the hydraulic roll gap control is the most important part. In this thesis, S6H mill as research object, Use of CAD software SolidWorks, the finite element analysis software ANSYS software advantage complementary, established Baosteel’s S6H mill is model, and researched the working roll force on the simulation, and studied and discussion the contact stress distribution and stress concentration points.And calculate the roll gap in the crown and edge drop value. On site production has direct sense.Build the hydraulic pressure servo system mathematical model, and use Matlab software to the system of time and frequency domain analysis, grasp the system’s actual dynamic characteristics. And the PI controller are adjusted, the results display control system dynamic characteristics have been obviously improved, to achieve the desired design requirements.
