Now reclamation as the important method of ecological restoration is developed vigorously in mining areas. The problems coming from it were also increasingly conspicuous. In this paper, using fly ash, coal gangue and sewage sludge three raw materials, substrates prepared in different proportions to grow plants, conducted for mine reclamation experiment. Set the mine area reclamation as the goal, the three wastes treatment plant discharge used in conjunction. Considering of its improved soil properties, soil physical, chemical properties, plant growth environment optimization and realistic significance had the following conclusions.(1) Add the sludge can be effectively increased the content of total nutrient substrate, and reduce the matrix of pH, making it more suitable for plant growth. The addition of fly ash and soil can make the matrix pH value increases. The ratio of media content of available nutrient of planting different plants have certain differences, basically are lower than the initial content.(2) As the planting grasses growth showed, A1(sludge:fly ash, coal gangue:soil=3:1:1:5) treated as an ideal combination of complex in gramineous plants. A5(sludge:fly ash, coal gangue=2:2:6) was the most ideal proportion of planting leguminous plants. The ratios of fresh weight and dry weight of planting legume plants’ root and shoot were higher than those of grasses. The chlorophyll contents in planting grasses at ratios of A2(sludge:fly ash, coal gangue:soil=3:1:5:1) and A3(sludge:fly ash, coal gangue=6:2:2)were variously better than others. The ratios of A3and A7(sludge:fly ash, coal gangue:soil=3:1:3:3) had a small effect on MDA content in grasses. Planting leguminous plants at ratios of A3, A5and A7were suitable much better than others. In the meanwhile, the chlorophyll contents at ratios of A3and A7grew greater.(3) The suitable comprehensive analysis combined different ratios of matrix with different plants finds that Lolium perenne and Bromus inermis in grasses were suitable for mine reclamation growth, and A1is the best ratio. Melilotus and Alfalfa as the legumes’ delegates were suitable for mine reclamation growth, and A5is the best ratio.
