Research Of The Sustainable Land Use In Shuozhou Based On Ecological Footprint Mode

Sustainable utilization of land resources could guarantee the sustainabledevelopment of countries and regions. China has a great number of people and scantyland resources, rescource distribution is unbalance. With the rapid Urbanization, landdevelopment and resource exploitation speed up. Unreasonable land use maderegional ecological environment degradation, especial for mining cities. Studying thesustainable land use of this kind of city and taking precaution have importanttheoretical significance. It could avoid mining city becoming resource-exhausted andkeep urban sustainable development.Its research methods and conclusions provideguidance for similar cities.First, this paper describes the sustainable land use theory and studying ecologicalfootprint model with Shuozhou city case. And then it qualitative and quantitativeanalyses socioeconomic status; Second, using ecological footprint model to evaluateShuozhou land use status,it is different with other common cities. Then, calculatingeco-compensation; At last, based above research put forward advices and suggestionsto Shuozhou land sustainable use.The research concludes that coal and mining industry is its leading industry;withincreasing construction area, the unused land area discreases; the ecological ofShuozhou is deficit, energy land is the majority part of land consumption, because ofirrational land use structure made Shuozhou land use unsustainable;the rapiddevelopment of economic made ten thousand Yuan GDP trend to descend annually,ecological footprint capacity improve; because of Shuozhou output resources to otherareas so that it consume region resource, so it should have some compensate for itselfsustainable development.In order to achieve Shuozhou land use sustainable and then push sustainabledevelopment of all city, it should carry out reasonable land use plan; protectingcultivate; rearranging inefficient and idle land; promoting the intensive utilization ofland.Carrying strict management system to construction land use, control enterprisesthat have low production and have serious environment pollution. Increaseing inputs to science and technology, improving management techniques so that improve landutilization efficiency. Establishing the ecological funds compensation system toprovide financial support for Shuozhou city sustainable development.
