With the rapid development of industry, gear transmission is applied more and more widely in the current, especially in steam, machinery, ships and aerospace fields, it demands more and more high for gear. This need to further improve the processing quality gear, while after most of the gear hobbing and gear shaping, gear shaving processing also needs to be, in order to improve and enhance the accuracy of their tooth profile, and the precision of gear shaving processing directly affect the subsequent processing quality and stability of gear transmission.For the traditional disc shaving cutter, it often appears concave tooth phenomenon, this thesis analyzes the causes of disc shaving cutter tooth concave and solutions measure, and based on this study a new type multiple threads worm shaving cutter. Increased numbers of worm gear shaving cutter, in order to further improve processing efficiency; increased the contact ratio in order to eliminate or reduce the tooth profile of concave phenomenon, in order to improve the shaving precision. The topic major form the cutter tooth profile fitting optimization, under different gear shaving cutter diameter and worm capita crumbs slots number and structure optimization research.Firstly, through space meshing helical gears theory knowledge, establish multiple threads worm shaving cutter tooth surface equation. Research multiple threads worm shaving cutter numbers to influence the error of tooth profile fitting, through simplex method for double and three head worm tooth profile of gear shaving cutter circular arc fitting, find out the maximum error of the fitting. And analyze the causes of error is different, in order to correct grinding wheel, to improve shaver grinding accuracy. Secondly, according to the meshing line equation, obtained the length of the theoretic meshing line, calculation of the size of the contact ratio. Selection and calculation of multiple threads worm gear shaving cutter chip flute width and quantity, its analysis of the impact of cutting. Finally to analyze stress and deformation in the process of gear shaving, establish shaving force model, by applying the finite element analysis method, created the multiple threads worm shaving cutter model is imported into ANSYS, for the distribution regularity of deformation under different cutting condition and modal analysis.Through the analysis, the application of MATLAB toolbox for multiple threads worm shaving cutter teeth were optimized, calculated under the condition of stiffness and strength meet the optimal number of teeth and the outer diameter of cutting tools is increased, the influence of numbers of cutter teeth. Then optimize the overall structure, meet the conditions of long worm type optimum size of gear shaving cutter and the optimal numbers of worm.
