This research project is to study at production technology of small and medium sizelow grade gold ore flotation plant. Through the analysis of ore properties and composition,including the state of the gold content of disseminated, relative content and so on,according to the ore properties and the production practice, recommend the reasonableprocess flow. In the case of a gold flotation plant of Liaoning Province, the main factors ofaffecting the plant layout has been detailed analysis and design. Under the condition ofdefined the best criteria, according to the flotation concentrate grade and recovery rateobtained from the test, improve production process to make it suitable for low grade goldmine, recommend better flotation process for on-site production under the principle ofmore crushing less grinding and simplify the process through restructuring. The research ofequipment selection and facility layout are based on the production process.All kinds of mechanical equipment of flotation plant is introduced in detail. Theoptimizing to improve work efficiency is carried on through reasonable equipmentselection and layout. Flotation process equipment consists of jaw crusher, ball mill,classifier, magnetic separator, flotation machine, thickener and dryer, etc. The productionline was assumed. To achieve the target of high efficiency, low energy, high capacity, theadvantages of the economic and reasonable goal, the flotation process is optimized basedon relevant layout theories.In the aspect of facility layout, this article will assume the multi-objectiveoptimization problem as the continuous optimization of multi-line facility layout problemcontaining area layout, logistics cost and production process, make it more meaningful.This article will put forward a multi-objective job-shop equipment layout optimizationalgorithm through the chromosome coding, the constraint processing, selection operatorand mutation operator designing, fitness calculation on the basis of the standard geneticalgorithm. An improved genetic algorithm model is built based on the gold flotation plantin example, which is verified in effectiveness with the Matlab simulation results, and finally recommend reasonable and practical production process flow and equipment layoutproject for low grade gold ore flotation plant, and achieve the target of optimization.
