With the process of the digital technologies in the field of garment, people pay moreand more attention to improving the accuracy of existing technologies.2D non-contactmeasurement, as an emerging technology of digital clothing, its accuracy will affect theprospects of the entire measuring system directly and the using after promotion. Faces tothe questions of the accuracy of some key circumferences aren’t ideal enough; the ways ofmeasurement are too subjective etc, it has extensive research value to proceed to study andimprove on existing non-contact2D measurement system.This research work is as follows:1. In this study, we use young male body as our objects and get the body data by usingthe photographs measurements, three-dimensional anthropometric measurements andheight positioning that is a new approach.2. Consolidated the knowledge of computer graphics and the law of human figure, wecan extract the height, neck thickness, neck width, chest width, chest thick, chest high,thick waist, waist width, waist high, belly thickness, belly width, hip thick, hip width, thighthick, thigh width, calf thick, calf width, shoulder bevel, side angle, hip lobes, back into thecorner, dorsal angle after defining the key points on the edges of the images.3. Extract the circumferences of neck, chest, belly, waist, hip, thigh and calf from thepoint cloud by using the new method.4. Establish the circumference fitting model algorithms by using the dualistic linearregression that the circumference of3D body measurement is the dependent variable andthe thickness and width from MATLAB are the arguments.5. Verify the improved measuring system.
