A mathematical model for the three stimulus values C, M, Y and the dye weight concentrations has been established by collecting and analyzing the actual data from a factory in order to minimize the error between the predicted textile dyeing recipes and the actual textile dyeing recipes. The multivariate nonlinear equations of the dye weight concentrations and three stimulus values C, M, Y can be established by using the multiple nonlinear regression analysis method and getting the least squares estimation points, and combining with polynomial fitting in Excel. Then, the regression significant effects of mathematical model can be verified through the F Significant Test. Finally, the corresponding dye mass concentrations can be got by using the Newton iterative method to solve the mathematical model reversely. The errors between the experimental results and the actual values are very small compared with which got by the mathematical model using multiple nonlinear regression analysis method. So the method can be used to actual dyeing applications. The first chapter mainly explores the main contents and innovative points in this paper from these aspects:the background and significance of this research project, the development of computer color matching technology trends, and the basic principle of dyeing computer color matching. The second chapter discusses the basic theories of dyeing in computer color matching respectively from these perspectives in details:photometry, colorimetry, traditional color theories, computer color matching methods, and the influence factors of basic color. The third chapter mainly introduces the basic theories of mathematical modeling to realize computer color matching established in this paper. The fourth chapter is the core of this paper. Computer color matching model is given with both the sane and different dye weight concentrations. Then the mathematical model is solved and the F significant test is conducted respectively. Finally, the corresponding dye mass concentrations are got by reversely solving the mathematical model which has been created. The fifth chapter is the analysis and summary of this paper. The advantages and disadvantages of this mathematical model established in this paper are analyzed. Finally, the further research direction in the future for this area has been point out.
