With the development of packaging printing industry,the accuracy of printing colors is improved.In order to acquire the high-precision samples,a new color matching method was proposed in this paper which combines component analysis with computer color matching.The key of this way is to select the ink that is closest to the target color component for color matching,so high-precision color matching was achieved.The experimental process to explore the new color matching method is firstly that the verification of color matching effects using inks that were similar to target colors in composition.In order to ensure the consistency of the printing ink used in the target colors and color matching,one brand printing ink was both used to print the target color and used for color matching.In addition,two other brand printing inks were selected for color matching and comparing the color matching accuracy.The experiments showed that the best color matching effect were arose when the printing inks were the same as the printing inks of target colors,followed by the other two.The analytical tool to assess the difference between the printing inks of target colors and color matching was discussed.The infrared spectra similarity was used as a discriminant tool in this paper,firstly the infrared spectra of three brands of printing inks were collected,the infrared spectra matched-degree of printing inks of target colors and color-matching were obtained by the correlation algorithm of software.Besides,the infrared spectral similarities result and the color matching accuracy were compared.The conclusion suggested it was easier to quickly obtain high-accuracy color matching samples when the infrared similarity between the target color ink and the color matching ink was higher.Finally,the influence of metamerism index,near-infrared spectral reflectance curves and color inconstancy index to select recipes of computer color matching were discussed and the experimental results were estimated.The results indicated that the metamerism indices were small when the color difference between the sample and the target color was similar and the printing ink with the same color combination as the target color was used.The near-infrared spectral reflectance curves of different recipes varied greatly,and this method can be used to select some specific requirements of recipes.The color inconstancy indices of metameric colors were different,when the color-matching recipes and target colors of printing inks were the same,the color inconstancy indices of color matching colors and target colors were similar.The color inconstancy was used as one of the colorimetric conditions when selecting the recipes,which is conducive to select constant color.The feasibility of the new color matching method to obtain high-precious color matching samples was proved by experiments.The method provided new idea for high-precision color matching.
