The structure of steel plate shear wall is a new and effective lateral force resistingsystem, and has been widely concerned in recent years. A lot of research results showthat the buckling of thin steel plate does not mean the loss of bearing capacity, to thecontrary, formed in the post-buckling tension band to play a role which is similar to aseries of bracing, it makes the structure still have greater flexibility in lateral stiffnessand resistance to shear carrying capacity. At the same time, steel plate walls has goodductility and stable hysteretic characteristics, therefore, it is an effective lateral forceresisting members. But the energy performance of the steel sheet is weak, and easily tocause the effect of tension-field, the production process of stiffened plate is complex,and the effect of the residual stress is serious. The profiled steel plate wall is a goodchoice instead of thick steel plate and stiffener, not only the surface stiffness, but also inthe case of the surrounding constraints, the post-buckling can also play the effect of skindiaphragms. In this paper, we consider the profiled steel plate as the main lateral forceresisting members of the structure, combined with semi-rigid joint which is moreeconomical and more effective. And we study a new type of structure system, as issemi-rigid steel frame–filled profiled steel wall structure. Based on the structure andsystem, this paper, the ANSYS finite element software will be used to study theperformance of structures under static and seismic response, the main work is asfollows:(1) Finite element nonlinear static analysis for structural models of themulti-parameter, to inspect the effect of plate thickness, joint stiffness, the arrangementangle of the board layout position and cross on the stiffness and carrying capacity of thestructure. Then, do contrast with semi-rigid frame structure-filled with the samethickness of the flat steel plate on the static performance. Numerical analysis resultsshow that the vertical layout profiled plate to be significantly better than the horizontallayout, the vertical layout profiled plate has a higher stiffness and carrying capacity thanflat steel plate shear wall, thickness, the angle of the board layout position andcross-high are the main control parameters of the structure mechanical properties.(2) Analysis for a cross a two-tier structure filled the vertical layout profiled steelplate with low cyclic load to study the hysteretic behavior of the structure. The structurehysteresis loop is full spindle, and has good seismic performance.(3) Nonlinear time history analysis for two spans six floors structure filled thevertical layout profiled steel plate under a number of seismic waves,and do comparisonwith the empty framework of semi-rigid structure, to examine the time history responseof the structure system. The results show that the structural design is reasonable, andreflects the good seismic performance. Overall, the profiled steel plate is not only the form of diversification, productionand installation of factory, but also is an effective lateral force resisting members.Therefore, through reasonable design and construction measures of the structure, theprofiled steel plate can give full play to the anti-side effect, to improve the Lateral forceresisting of the structure.
