TBM refers to the machine integrated of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, surveyingand control, which is used to large underground tunnels. But currently most of theseequipments are imported from abroad. If we adopt domestic TBM machines, we will savea lot of foreign exchange, as well as promote the machine manufacturing industry in ourcountry.Meanwhile it will be of great significance for the development with independentintellectual property rights of TBM and breaking the long-term dependence on importedsituation.This paper takes the general compact double shield TBM (DSU compact TBM),which is manufactured by qinhuangdao tianye-tolian heavy industry production, as theresearch object and mainly does the following research work:(1) The study on the main mechanical structure of double shield TBM and thetunnelling condition and special processing methods for adverse geological conditions,which provides guidance and reference for the future design, commissioning andexcavation.(2) It also includes the dynamic demand calculation of main thrust systems, thedesign of main thrust hydraulic cylinder and partition study. Meanwhile the unbalancedtorque of the cutterhead is calculated and the torque balance method has been put forward.(3)It takes dynamic analysis on the the main thrust system and deduces the motionequation between the cutterhead and main thrust hydraulic cylinder.(4) there is some work including the design、calculation、selection of the main thrusthydraulic system.By adopting electro-hydraulic proportional technology, multistagepressure-flow power variable pump control technology and instrumentation valvestechnology,it meets the design requirements.(5) Based on the AMESim simulation software,it does the simulation research formain thrust hydraulic systems,including the open loop and closed loop control. Throughsimulation,we found that under the condition of open loop, the pressure and flow rates arebigger swings, overshoot volume is bigger, slow response, and poor system robustness. Under closed-loop PID control, the system performance is obviously improved, the rapidresponse speed and overshoot volume is small, while improving the robustness of thesystem.(6) There are some fault diagnosis and analysis for the main thrust hydraulic system.In the experiment, we improve the main thrust hydraulic system and do experiment.,whichshows that the improved main thrust hydraulic system can meet the design requirements.
