With the energy-saving emission reduction policies promulgated, China will reform the city heating system and the method of charging for heat metering will be gradually implemented. It become a hot topic in research with thermal field that how to collecte and manage the data of heat and the meters. The computer technology and network communication technology is applied to the measurement of heat in the industry, many new heat metering technology and meter reading technology has been rapid development, to solve the problems of many aspects of this.Because of the computer technology and network communication technology being applied to the industry of measuring heat, many new heat metering technology and meter reading technology have been rapid development, and solved the problems of many aspects of this. According to analyzing the development of ultrasonic heat meter and the network transmission system, this paper puts forward the design scheme of heat metering network transmission system, which is mainly the design of ultrasonic heat meter, collector and concentrator.First, with the reform of the current policy of energy conservation and emission reduction in China and the city heating charging method, the background and significance of the research topic are illustrated, and the development of heat meter and the network transmission mode are researched. On this basis, the design scheme of heat metering network transmission system is introduced.Secondly, the theory and method of calculation formula, ultrasonic velocity measurement and capacitance charge-discharge measured resistance. The three part studies the principle of ultrasonic heat meter. The principle of ultrasonic heat meter is studied from three parts which are the theory and method of calculation formula, ultrasonic velocity measurement and capacitance charge-discharge measured resistance. Analysis of the M-BUS bus transmission modulation voltage and current and the instrument protocol are introduced. ZigBee wireless sensor network structure and SNAP wireless network which uses of "peer-to-peer" concept are studied. Characteristics of GSM network, short message service and GPRS network are introduced in this paper. Then, the hardware circuit design and software design of the ultrasonic heat meter, collector and concentrator are introduced. For the ultrasonic heat meter, the design of flow velocity and temperature measurement are introduced, and the M-BUS communication interface circuit is given. The design of M-BUS master circuit is completed by circuit simulation software, while introducing the design of circuit of collector and concentrators, and illustrating the process of data transmission between the collector and concentrator by ZigBee module with the control flow chart. The AT commands that will be used by GSM short message and TCP connection are introduced, and the program design of short message receiving and TCP data reliable transmission are given, to achieve the data of transmission between the concentrator and the center server.Finally, according to the above design, making the prototypes, the ultrasonic heat meter, collectors and concentrators are tested in a people living area. The test results basically achieves the desired effect.
