A valve is a key equipment for power plants to control and adjust the flowand pressure of transmission mediums, playing an important role in the normalcooperation of power plants, and it is also easy to cause potential safetyproblems. All of the special valves in China are basically dependent onimports,so increasing the level of design of power station valve is urgentlyneeded to resolve key issues. Therefore, development of digital valve designsystem with the integration of parametric design, characteristic analysis,optimization design, has important practical significance.This paper has researched data management method of valve structuredesign, valve characteristics analysis technique based on knowledge, structureoptimization technology based on characteristic analysis and the digital designsystem development technology, and on this basis developed the valve digitaldesign system.On the analysis of system requirements, study the overall frame structure ofthe digital design system, refine the main working flow and function structure ofvalve digital design system; research the method of system database design anddevelopment, establish the database by using SQL Server, realize system valvedata management through studying connection technology of database.Research on the process of the characteristic analysis for power stationvalve about structure static, thermal stress and seismic modal science; completethe writing of characteristics analysis general template for power station valve inthe same topological structure; through the analysis of integrated informationinteractive process for ANSYS, complete the valve simulation analysis based ontemplate, realize information transfermation and sharing in characteristicanalysis process.By using the mathematical statistics and regression analysis method,research on the mapping relations between valve structure parameter and itsperformance, establish mathematical model of the relationship between structureparameters and the valve performance, provide a theoretical guidance foroptimization design; study on valve structure optimization algorithms, realizevalve structure optimization design facing characteristic analysis, and prove thefeasibility by examples.Adopting the current mainstream development technology, develop powerstation digital design system based on above key technology, realize the wholedata management from design, simulation to final structure optimization, improve the design quality and efficiency.
