High concrete face rock-fill dam is characterized by huge engineering quantity,high construction intensity and complex construction technology. Affected bymultiple factors such as dam zoning, machinery allocation and construction road,earthwork allocation becomes a complex issue. How to real-timely analyze andcontrol earthwork allocation during construction process of high concrete facerock-fill dam is an important issue and needs an urgent solution. In this paper, aimingat construction characteristics of high concrete face rock-fill dam and based onreal-time monitoring system for high concrete face rock-fill dam, an earthworkdynamic allocation model oriented to construction process is established. Bycontinuously acquiring real-time construction information from the real-timemonitoring system and solving the model, a reasonable earthwork allocation schemeis obtained. Aiming at some hydropower project, earthwork dynamic allocationmethod for high concrete face rock-fill dam based on real-time monitoring system isproposed. Main content and achievements of this paper are as follows.(1) Based on the independent development of filling construction qualityreal-time monitoring system for high concrete face rock-fill dam, which includesreal-time monitoring system for filling and rolling process and real-time monitoringsystem for materials transportation to dam, method of obtaining real-time constructioninformation is proposed in this paper. Then effect of real-time constructioninformation on earthwork real-time dynamic allocation is analyzed.(2) Model of earthwork dynamic allocation for high concrete face rock-fill damis established. Earthwork allocation process and constraint conditions such as pouringfeatures of the concrete face, dam zoning, construction road and rise of different zonesare systematically analyzed. Then the model is established by consideringconstruction characteristics of high concrete face rock-fill dam as constraintconditions. Earthwork dynamic allocation and construction of high concrete facerock-fill dam are organically combined and the established model is of strongapplicability.(3) Method of earthwork dynamic allocation for high concrete face rock-fill dambased on real-time monitoring is proposed, which includes method of parameterdetermination for earthwork allocation based on real-time monitoring, method ofmatching construction road with earthwork allocation path, method of solving themodel, method of real-time analysis for earthwork allocation situation during construction process and method of real-time control for earthwork allocation process.Taking some high concrete face rock-fill dam as a case study, by calculation andanalysis of filling construction process, method of earthwork dynamic allocation forhigh concrete face rock-fill dam based on real-time monitoring is verified to beeffective and obtains satisfactory results.
