With the increasing complexity of modern grid structure, the expanding of grid capacity and the increaseing amount of information transfer, put forward higher requirements for data communication in substation automation system. The intelligent substation five-prevention system communication network is a essentially hierarchical and distributed control system,is composed of multiple subsystems inside the substation automation system through internal data communication, the exchange of information within the various subsystems and between subsystems and sharing of information, so as to reduce the repeating configuration of the second-equipment; while improving the transmission efficiency, and to simplify the interconnection of the various subsystems and improve the transmission efficiency and overall system performance in the premise of ensuring the safe and reliable. The papers in the summary of the existing the substation five-prevention system communication network, propose a scheme to realize five-prevention system communication network performance optimization.This paper mainly do the following aspects of work:Study existing substation five-prevention system communication server solutions,propose the communication server model based on windows completion port,thread pool and substation event processing priority queue, and optimize the server thread pool model operating parameters.In view of the current substation communication configuration file parsing problems, research and analysis SCL file system configuration based on IEC61850five-prevention system, propose the shift index algorithm based on DOM.Analysis, study disable Nagle algorithm and TCP window to adjust the impact of network transmission performance of existing network transmission model, propose the optimization methods of network transmission performance based on minimum system load.The paper presents the implementation of a communication network performance optimi-zation, the results show that such solution improve server the number of network nodes concurrent connections and communication efficiency,reduce the server’s CPU and memory utilization, and improve the speed of parsing the configuration file after experimental verification.
