The Study Of The Design On The Flexible Boundary Of Outdoor Activity Space In University Campus

Flexible boundary is a special form of the boundary, play a very important part in the connection of the indoor space and the outdoor space, also played a role of buffering, and the transition between different areas at the same time, in addition it is very inclusive for behavioral and activity.In the university campus, flexible boundary is an important carrier of campus activities, also a part of campus life. In the campus, students spend a large part of free time in non-core area outside of the school building, such as teaching building, dormitories and canteens, etc. It’s very important to have a transition during the outdoor activity space and indoor space and during the different area. It should be well considered and designed, the transition of function and space of the border ar-ea.This paper focuses on the border area of the outdoor activities space of campus, to discuss start from people’s behavior, psychological department, to explore the de-sign of flexible boundary.
