With the development of city, road lighting which is the city infrastructure construction gets a quick development.Not only for the Increased street lamp quantity, but also in the continuous expansion of the lamps installation scope. Reasonable and effective road lighting, not only ensure the residents’safe night traffic, and can reach the object of energy saving and emission reduction.Now our city street lamp management mode depends mainly on the staff constantly patrol to find and solve street lamp failure, so it costs a lot of manpower and material resources.In order to solve this question, this system puts forward ZigBee and wireless street lamp control method which is combined with GPRS. Analyzing and comparing the three different ZigBee network topology features, then determinate the mesh network topology. Besides it also Introduces wireless communication system ZigBee sub station’s distribution to make sure that short distance wireless communication network can cover every street lamp node and don’t waste any cyber source.In view of the present city lights "the whole night lamp, constant illumination " application actuality, this paper puts forward street lamp time-sharing control mode which combined with the illumination sensor and consider that after midnight there are fewer vehicles, so adopt single lamp control with the help of police traffic radar. The specific control mode for road use existing radar to detect vehicle traffic signal. When there is no vehicle the street lamp working in dark condition, when detect the signal, by means of the vehicle’s traveling control front lamp lit one by one, while the rear lamp delay to dark after the vehicle passed some time. Fuzzy control algorithm is used to realize the time delay then speed signal which is collected by police traffic radar is sent to intelligent controller to get delay time by fuzzy processing.In addition, the system takes the vehicle real driving route is not straight into account, so in the crossroads infrared distance measuring device is installed to determine the direction of vehicle travel.So this intelligent control system can effectively control single street lamp. It both ensure the road lighting needs and achieve the effect of saving energy. Nowadays energy shortage for the rapid development of economy, this intelligent lighting control system has a wide application prospect.
