As the energy of the world is limited,all countries agree with the energy saving.As the world's second largest energy consumption,lighting needs energy saving very much.While the LED technology is maturing,it has gradually become the mainstream in lighting.But there are many problems in the LED street lamp lighting,such as low efficiency,short service life,high cost,and behindhand control technology that can't make adjustment timely and effectively according to environment.Therefore this thesis studies the driving supply design and intelligent control of LED street lamps based on road traffic sensing.For the LED street lamp driver,this thesis introduces and designs power supply with high power factor and high efficiency.Driving power supply uses multilevel PFC scheme.The active power factor correction circuit is designed for the preceding stage based on continuous mode of PFS708 EG,and the LC resonant circuit is designed for the post stage based on LCS702 HG.The experiment results show that the power factor is 99%,the efficiency reaches 93% which meet the requirements of driving power supply.In order to combine intelligent control of the LED street lamp,a dimming circuit with pulse width modulation(PWM)is designed for brightness control between 0 and 100 based on LM3406 HV.An intelligent control system of LED street lamps is designed based on traffic sensing,CC2530 and ZigBee wireless networks technology.It adjusts the brightness of LED street lamps based on fuzzy control of car traffic which is verified to be feasible by MATLAB modeling.Finally the experiments show that the intelligent control system of LED street lamps based on traffic sensing is feasible.
