Application Of The Economical Concept In The Landscape Of The Affordable Housing Community

Affordable housing is a welfare housing that our government for the sale of low-income families in the city, which is an important part of the new system of housing supply. On the premise of meeting the housing needs from the low-and-middle-income group, the control of the construction cost is an essential choice of the planning and construction of affordable housing. The affordable housing residential landscape construction should be guided by saving ideas, in-depth analysis on the living needs of residential population, make efforts to create a fully functional, harmonious and beautiful, sustainable development landscape and environmental within the limited range of cost control.This paper focuses on the status and problems of affordable housing landscape, through methods such as literature review and data summarization, make comparation of design needs in the landscape between affordable housing and commercial housing. Then it put forward the corresponding solutions of the status combined with saving ideas from the perspective of the landscape design. This paper take the design case of Nanjing Donghuagang affordable housing residential landscape for example, from the overall landscape layout, group layout, road system, landscape design, plant landscaping and sketch facilities selection, and explore the concept of economy and how affordable housing residential landscape design practice and implement. The paper presents the following recommendations:(1) On the part of overall environment, the requirements for the affordable housing is consistent with the design requirements of residential and commercial district, both of them need to create a harmonious and beautiful, comfortable and pleasant living atmosphere. However, affordable housing community should not blindly pursuing the grade of the landscape of the commercial district, but it should put the emphasis on the economy, following the simple shapes, generous, easy construction, easy to maintain basic design principles. (2) On the part of green environment, affordable housing community needs to focus on the conservation of land, refused to too much emphasis on the form of design patterns and one-sided pursuit of conservation land, while ignoring the use of the functional approach. Attention should be paid to take full advantage of the overhead layer, underground, wall space, and focus on the design of green space between the house,we should strive to achieve the comprehensive play of ecological benefits, environmental benefits and social benefits.(3) On the part of outdoor open space, affordable housing within the district has the higher density, higher frequencies, in addition to meet rigid specifications index, it need to focus on people, especially the special needs of the elderly and children, make more platform for them to play, exchange and learn, thus contributing to the residential atmosphere of harmony.(4) On the part plant configuration, addition to current principle, the affordable housing community should eliminate the selection of valuable, cross-regional varieties of plants, but should focus on low-cost, easy to conservation principles, as far as possible the simulation of plant communities in natural form layout, use a variety of garden plant configuration techniques to create beautiful, rich layers of landscape plants.(5) On the part of the applications of advanced technology, the affordable housing residential and commercial district both should be duly considered, but the affordable housing district should also consider the overall balance of the overall capital investment and cost-effective, selectively applied in this premise. In process of making the choice, such as a wide range of advanced street lighting, paving materials, landscape sketches and other category, the affordable housing community need to choose a low price, easy to construct, difficult to damage type. In addition, the rainwater harvesting systems which is currently promoted in our country, should also be selected to applications according to the investment and its usage in the affordable housing community.
