Application Research Of Modularity In Affordable Housing Landscape Design Based On BIM

As the population flow, the urban population is increasing. In order to solve the housing problem for low-mid income group, the thinking of affordable housing gradually taking an important position in the construction industry. The landscape of affordable housing, as an important part of community, is important experience part for community residents' life, and the quality of the landscape design is an important factor which influencing the residents' living experience.Modular design can decompose the system into independent lower levels, which have their own functions of the module, and then through the selection of designer and reorganization of the module, a new process system is formed. Modular design method is suitable for large scale construction with high repetition rate, and it is very suitable for the design method of affordable housing.Affordable housing landscape not only have high quality need high efficiency and low cost. While modular design can improve the efficiency of design, and combining with construction industrialization to reduce the construction cost, but existing modular parameters are insufficient. This article brings in the application of BIM technology to the modular design to make the module more parameterized. In this case, the variability of module can be greatly improved.This article mainly study and discuss the application of BIM technology in modular design, summarizes the concept of BIM modular, the application of BIM modular in the design of affordable housing landscape, and to disassemble and grading the module of affordable housing landscape. ? Nanjing – standardization design module of affordable housing landscape(trial version)? will be used as the basement to create the module of BIM technology, and there are some examples of application of BIM modularity in affordable housing landscape. BIM modularity improves the efficiency of affordable housing landscape design, increases the landscape diversity of the module, and improves the variability of module.
