Study On The Sustainable Development Of Water Resources In Xinjiang

Water is the source of life, water resources can be called the foundation of naturalresources; at the same time, water is a strategic economic resource, organic composition ofevaluation of comprehensive national strength is between countries. Therefore, the water canbe said is the important foundation of social and economic development. Xinjiang’s social andeconomic development is restricted by water resources, water will soon become a profoundsocial crisis. The world water shortage, water shortage in China, Xinjiang water shortage. So,research on the sustainable development of Xinjiang water resources strategy, make limitedwater resources to satisfy the needs of the present without jeopardizing the needs of futuregenerations is particularly important.This paper starts from the basic theory and concept of sustainable development, theconnotation of water resources, the main problems and causes, the current status of waterresources in Xinjiang focus on research and sustainable development, put forward thecorresponding countermeasures and suggestions. Especially in the transformation of waterconcept, build water rights, water market, analyze deeply the reform of water price andrational planning of Xinjiang water conservancy project construction etc. The thesis consistsof six chapters:The first chapter elaborated this article research background, significance, theoreticalbasis and relevant research review.The second chapter discusses the sustainable development of water resources.Characteristics of water resources are analyzed, the author clarifies the definition andconnotation of sustainable development of water resources, the importance of the sustainabledevelopment of water resources are discussed.The third chapter analyzes the contradiction, Xinjiang water resources sustainabledevelopment problem.The fourth chapter analyzes factors of Xinjiang water resources and related effects.Mainly includes: one is the distribution of water resources in Xinjiang, general situation,characteristics; two, in-depth analysis of contradiction between supply and demand of waterresources faced, low efficiency, frequent floods, drought little rain, river water, waterpollution, the main problems such as soil and water loss; three, trace to its source, based onthe above research, find the objective reasons, and subjective reason in concept, system.The fifth chapter in the related issues, can be improved from the following aspects tofind the sustainable development of water resources: from the concept of change of water,reform of water resources management system, accelerate the water rights transaction andwater market construction, establish and improve the water price system, perfecting theconstruction of law guarantee system, reasonable planning, construction water conservancyproject etc.The sixth chapter summarizes the whole research and general description.
