Design For Mobile Reading APP On Win8Based On User Experience

With the booming of IT technology and the popularization of mobile device, the mobile experience brought by the new era of mobile internet is penetrating people’s lives in multi-angles. People are switching their reading habit from via traditional media to via mobile device, which provides a whole new reading method. Compared with traditional reading, mobile reading has both advantages and disadvantages, and thus enhancing user experience is the key to win the customers and achieve success. Under the above opinion, the thesis starts with discussion of user experience theory, and then explores the way to improve mobile reading experience by picking Windows8Operating System from Microsoft as example.The thesis starts with the research of the two core elements of the Mobile User Experience:"User" and "Context". To research the three aspects around the thesis by the qualitative research and context research methods.1.To research the experience goal, the final goal and the life goal of the mobile reading users.2. To research and summarize the context of mobile readers. Analysis of the environment characteristics of the different contexts and the behaviour and the needs of users in context.3. To research the factors that influence the mobile reading experience.Finally, the thesis submit he design principles and methods of the Win8mobile reading application from three aspects.1. The content aspect, construct the emotional connection between the reading application and the reading users.2. The behaviour aspect, ensure the availability and accessibility of the reading application.3.The Forms aspect, ensure the display of the reading information readability and legibility. In the end, Practice and validation my points above through the user experience design of the project "Fashion Style"during my internship at Microsoft.
