Research On The Cross-terminal Reading Design Based On The Consistency-experience Theory

With the rapid development of Mobile Internet, people's lifestyle changes. Mobile reading, one of the products of the Internet economy era, changes the access to obtain knowledge and information from traditional paper to mobile products. People have been accustomed to using a mobile phone, PAD, notebook and other intelligent terminal devices to read and mobile reading has entered into multi-terminal stage across the screen.Faced with multiple terminals, produce different products, which certainly brings some problems to the user experience. How to allow users to have consistent reading experiences all the time when they are switching the terminal freely, is an important issue which mobile reading is currently facing.The goal of this paper is to realize the consistent reading experiences across the terminal, which mainly analyzes the differences of cross-terminal reading, sort out the consistent theory and put forward the application of consistency theory in the user experience which is called Consistent Experience Design.On the basis of qualitative and quantitative research, this paper puts forward the consistency experience's influencing factors of cross-terminal mobile reading and constructs a model for evaluating the consistency experience of mobile reading. And on this basis, this paper puts forward the design principles of the cross-terminal reading experience's consistency, and puts forward an efficient design process management method of cross-terminal product,and verifies the research results through the case.This paper obtains twenty indicators about cross-terminal reading consistency experience, and cross-terminal consistency experience efficient design process and twelve design principles.Finally, based on the cross-terminal reading experience consistency evaluation model of this paper, this paper designs and evaluates the consistency reading experience of Net Ease, which shows that the cross-terminal reading consistency factors and consistency experience evaluation model is reasonable and feasible.I hope this paper can provide some useful exploration for cross-terminal reading experience consistency design, and find some design directions which can bring consistent pleasure experience and innovative reading experience to users.
