Discussion On Environmental Landscape Design And Construction Of Rural-urban Continuum, And Rural

The interaction between city and the surrounding rural mutual will be much more intensethan ever before since China has entered the period which would be deeply advancing theurbanization construction. This will bring not only new development opportunities for theurbanization construction, but also higher request of construction of integrated planning anddevelopment of urban and rural as well as ecological and livable environment development.As a connecting link, integration areas of urban-rural, which consisting of complex andjagged elements and frequently transformed of instability and uncertainty factors, is in theforefront of the urbanization construction. However, all kinds of emerging phenomena such as“hollow village”,“city disease”, environment damage and chaos of landscape pattern havebeen becoming more and more serious problems. It would contributed to that many places aresimply for a long time taking the urban construction as expansion of the scale of city either bydigging mountain or reclamation. Thus questions have been arise such as how to improve theembarrassing situation of the integration areas of urban-rural, how to face up to its currentconstruction situation and how to interpret correctly the environmental characteristics andfunction features of urban-rural fringe. To solve the problem of the environment constructionand management the integration areas of urban-rural from the aspects such as policy planningand construction has become the pressing issue faced by governments. How to scientificallyguide the landscape planning and construction of urban-rural regions is also a new subject oftechnicians and designers.Based on a whole view of the urban-rural regions construction, combining with researchsituation at home and abroad and guided by such as landscape ecology and its’ theory, gardenaesthetic landscape planning and modern agricultural science theory, the present study carriedout the thorough analysis of the landscape types, basic characteristics, the main function andthe mechanism of spatial structure evolution. The overall direction of the integration regionsof landscape planning and the planning principles were proposed and the influencing factorsand related technical problems were discussed. Subsequently, the strategies and approaches oflandscape planning of urban-rural regions were come to the conclusions mainly includes thefollowing several aspects. 1. It concluded that the present pattern of urban-rural regions in China are characterizedby chaos and damages of landscape elements, severely damaged balance of the ecological,less harmonious between modern and traditional culture landscape, poor continuity betweenthe landscape elements and abrupt transition in landscape construction by investigation thepart of the current situation of the landscape in the integration regions of urban-rural, as wellas analysis the related research summary.2. The environmental instability of landscape system of the urban-rural regions, theinteractive features of landscape elements, the diversity of the landscape types and thecomplexity of landscape functions were analyzed from the theoretical levels. The landscapefunctions were also investigated, including coordinating, buffer, economic, production,beautify, sightseeing, ecological and protection.3. The landscape planning, ecological, harmonious, livable and scientific guidingideology was explicitly proposed. Programming principle was also suggested in the form ofsuch as system optimization, coordination of urban and rural, protection of the resource,ecological balancing, highlight the characteristics of cultural display, fully functional,comprehensive benefit and people-oriented dynamic.4. Technically, the strategy and the method of urban and rural landscape planning wasproposed by deeply analyzed and specific interpretation of five aspects, i.e., the whole view oflandscape, visual representation, structure, connotation and sustainable.5. Taking the practice of ecological landscape construction in the north integrationregions of urban-rural in Yangling demonstration zone for example, combined with theinvestigation and analysis of the current situation of the project area’s landscape, thelandscape planning idea was proposed on the basis of “area+network+star”, and concludedthe planning ideas and methods which were elaborated on four zones consisting of basal areaof farmland landscape, scenic area of economic, area of forest, demonstration exhibition areaof agricultural high-tech and folk customs tourism as well as road network and importantlandscape node.
