The Equipments Utilization Plan Research Based On Passage Flow Simulation For Passenger Station

With the development of railway transports, our country has a great progress on thecapacity of railway passenger transport. More and more passengers are attracted by railwaytransportation and the numbers of passengers of railway passenger station annual averagekeeps rising which cause a problem that the existing operational program of equipment inpassenger station can not be applied to the passenger flow volume at present. Thus, how toutilize existing equipment in passenger station to increase the passenger flow organization andto propose a better operational program of passenger station equipment become to be apractical research.LanZhou railway passenger station is taken as an example in this paper, and quantitativeanalysis and simulation study are used to inspect if the operational program of ticketschecking and passageway equipments in waiting room is reasonable or not. Combining withthe simulation results, this paper puts forward the way to set checking and passagewayequipments in waiting room reasonably in reality.It can be divided into following aspects:(1) It analyzes the characteristics of passenger flow and filament line with the existingequipment in passenger station and then explains that how to take use of station equipment tooptimize passenger flow organization.(2) It utilizes SIMIO simulation system to design the simulation flow of checking andpassageway equipments in waiting room, obtain the operating index such as busy period ofequipment, queuing length and time of passengers and so on. And then it analyzes theequipment capacity and operation cost of service level and equipment.(3) It combines with the practical situation in LanZhou passenger station, adopts theSIMIO simulation software to build SIMIO simulation model of checking and passagewayequipments. Basing on various simulation models, it can get the different simulation results.By utilizing the feasibility index system of equipments’ operational program, it analyzes thesimulation results and then gives the better operational version of equipments.
