The City Planning And Building Features Of "Xinjing" In Period Of Manchukuo

Puppet state of Manchukuo (1932-1945),Japanese imperialist put thenortheast land of China into colony,and up to14years to establish apuppet empire,in the beginning of this period,Changchun be forced renamedXinjing which is the capital of Puppet state of Manchukuo.The city beganto reconstruction and planning in modern century, a large number ofbuildings accured which were have colonialism style.This issueexplained and debated the planning of Xinjing’s city planning andbuildings in a perspective of history,culture and designing.In Manchuria period,the Changchun city began to planned a moderndesigning.During Qing Dynasty and Republic of China times,the populationof old Changchun only around ten thousands.The roads and buildings hasirregular shape.According the adventages of political,city location,landand water resources,Changchun renamed Xinjing by Japanese that the citybegan to draw a modern city planning and construction.In the2nd part ofthis issue,I wrote process of planning in city,concluding areas,functionsall in a detail describtion,analysised significant features,made a goodstart for the contents in3rd part.Constructions and buildings need city to be planned,and human being’sand production need constructions and buldings,the three facts are handsin hands.In the3rd part of this issue,I classificated the style of publicbuildings in Xinjing,there are Manchuria style,Prairie style,modernstyle and traditional style.Every style has its specific building,thenyou can learn the details about the buildings,especially concludedconstruction time table,exterior feature,patterns of function,concept ofdesign.in the end of this part,I made a conclusion of Xinjing buildingswith historical and scientific methods.The Tongde Palace is the most important building at that time,but itis a temporary palace for Puyi,the emperor of Manchukuo.In the forth partof the issue,I wrote a detailed description of the past and present forTongde Palace,including inside patterns, room function,equipments anddecorating characteristics.the description focused on history andculture.After the Puppet Palce Museum was setting up, Tongde Palace wasdecorated and recovery as before,attracting a large number of touristscame to Changchun and visit there certainly,due to its educationalstories.This issue combines the empirical and historical analysis,objectivelyfocused on city planning and architectural features of Changchun as"Xinjing",the puppet state of Manchukuo era, the whole article will makesuch a progress on researching modern history and humanities environment of Changchun city,I hope that my issue can play a reference role in futureresearch.
