Based on summarizing the common types and diseases of bridges, an new method to evaluate the technique condition of bridges reinforced is investigated with the combination of improved analytic hierarchy process and the theory of fuzzy synthetic evaluation.According to dividing components of the bridges reinforced, the hierarchical model and judgment matrix of bridges reinforced is put forward. The weight of each part in the related performance indexs is calculated by means of programming for the formula of IAHP.On the basis of the evaluative grade standard, the rank of each evaluative index is confirmed by using analogy method and the subordinate function. The rank of each part and whole is conformed based on fuzzy comprehensive theory, maximum membership principle and asymmetric approach degree.Combining with an pratical engineering project, the technical condition of this bridge before strengthened is assessed by using specification and proposed method in the paper. The results are consistent and coincide with model tests. Each component and the whole bridge consolidated is evaluated by the method proposed. The result, which is agreement with the model test, shows that this bridge reinforced is in a better condition than before. The proposed method as a supplement of current specification can appraise the bridge practically and has good applications.
