In recent years, Tunneling construction in China has made great achievements. But there are many uncertain risk factors during the construction for railway tunnel, and the safety risk management of tunneling projects in construction stage is still in the beginning. In recent years accidents in the tunneling construction stage occur from time to time. Therefore, the study of risk management and the establishment of operational risk management system for tunneling projects, make people folly aware of the risk problem in the tunnel construction are of great significance. The purpose of this research is to establish reasonable and effective safety risk management method for tunneling engineering.The dissertation adopts risk identification like data analysis method and expert survey method, and indentifies that the most important risk of doumo tunnel is collapse and gas explosion.On this basis establish tunnel collapse and gas explosions fault tree, and use qualitative and quantitative analysis analyze doumo tunnel.Qualitative analysis phase through the fault tree’s minimal cut sets and minimal path sets to find out the way as well as preventive measures of the accident. Quantitative analysis phase because of the fault tree analysis is short of statistical data, use Analytic Hierarchy Process conduct the collapse, gas explosion accidents. On risk control and management, introduces the risk control’s strategic approach, the set of risk management organization, establishment of safety management system, personnel management, the formulation of emergency measures and rescue plans, proposed PDCA cycle applied to the construction of risk control and management, in order to facilitate the continuous improvement of risk management.In the article, Application of fault tree analysis method and analytic hierarchy process to achieve the tunnel construction safety risk quantitative analysis and with the collapse of tunnel, gas explosion accident as an example to explain fault tree analysis method in tunnel construction safety risk management is practical, To provide a reference for the fault tree analysis method in tunnel construction risk management and development.
