CTCS-2(Chinese Train Control System) is a key system for ensuring safety and high-efficiency in high-speed railway. The current railway maintenance consists of many modes, but this kind of maintenance is based on unitary maintenance for all equipments. However, the maintenance lacks of specific aim that leads to much time and inefficient, the equipment is developing towards complicated and integrated, how to reasonably optimize the current maintenance system will undoubtedly become an urgent problem which needs to be solved.The RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance) theory becomes more and more widespread in the current reliability engineering field. Different fault modes decide the different maintenance strategies with minimal maintenance resource consumption. In this thesis, the RCM theory is used for analyzing CTCS-2so as to make the railway line operation with more safety and high-availability. On the basis of above, the cost of maintenance can be controlled and the work efficiency can be greatly raised. The main works of the dissertation are as following.(1) The maintenance decision of CTCS-2should be based on FMEA(Failure Mode Effect Analysis) and failure risk assessment. After clearing the structure and function of CTCS-2and making FMEA analysis of main equipments, the systematic aims at finding out the weak points. Based on the expert evaluating and spot investigation, the systematic first determines the occurrence and severity of the fault mode, then makes the risk assessment on the basis of risk-matrix method and at last the preliminary maintenance of conclusions with different failure is given.(2) The logical decision is used to analyze maintenance strategy and the reasonable maintenance mode is proposed. Analytic hierarchy process is used to change the problem from quality into qualitative to make maintenance decision more reasonable.(3) The maintenance period should be based on the different equipments to separately build up the maintenance period optimal model with minimal cost model, maximum availably model and risk model. Then, the mathematical analytic calculation of maintenance period is given. Meanwhile, the maintenance period optimal model is established that based on the combination of minimal cost model and minimal risk model.By unifying examples, the author simulates the optimal model and makes the comparison between the minimal cost maintenance of reliable constrains and non-reliable constrains one in order to verify the validity of the model.
