Sudden water pollution incident refers to the liquid or solid suddenly contain high concentrations of pollutants into the water, made a waters so as to reduce the water body is polluted or lose their function and cause serious damage to the phenomenon. It is caused by man-made or natural disasters, and make the pollutants deteriorated seriously affect the water in a short time.In recent years China’s sudden heavy metal pollution incident occurred frequently, and the discharge of industrial waste water and sudden pollution event will cause the heavy metal pollution of source water. Organic pollution and heavy metal pollution of different substances, are generally not in the natural water system degradation, dissolved heavy metal toxicity and bioaccumulation as useful by the. In heavy metals harmful to human body is large, drinking water source once the occurrence of heavy metals pollution to the residents of drinking water safety, will Influence people’s drinking water safety and economic development. So it is necessary to study its removal method and mechanism.In view of the current situation of sudden water pollution in city water supply system,in the investigation of the main source of drinking water in Northwest China.Taking the Yellow River for an example,We analyzing the pollutant potential coastal. This paper simulated water of the Yellow River by the sudden heavy metal pollution to discuss the emergency treatment measures. We simulate of the Yellow River water are subject to different concentrations of nickel (Ni), chromium (VI) pollution, and research the method to remove the sudden heavy metal pollution drinking water sources of heavy metals. Combined water treatment process which is the city waterworks are widely used at present, to discuss a mehod that can be directly used in waterworks, which is fast, simple and effective emergency treatment process.The main conclusions were listed as follows:(1)We use the method of removaling of water powder activated carbon adsorption of nickel. Experiments show that, If exceed the standard of nickel in water were5times,10times,20times lower exceed the standard multiple water samples, using powder activated carbon adsorption treatment can make water, The dosage of100ml was0.006g,0.01g,0.053g. For nickel, exceed the standard35times,50times of high exceed the standard sample, then need to adjust the pH of8-8.5,1ml25mg/L and30mg/LFeC13were added coagulant, then adding activated carbon0.07g,0.1g adsorption water treatment can be achieved.(2) By using distilled water and turbidity removal of the Yellow River water allocation of nickel raw water exceed the standard, the experimental results the gap is not, considering the influence of the experimental conditions and human factors, the gap can be ignored. (3) Using ferrous sulfate reduction method, which can greatly improve the removal rate of six valence chromium. When concentration of raw water in six valence chromium was0.25mg/L~2mg/L, the corresponding ferrous sulfate dosage is5mg/L~16mg/L can make the total chromium in the effluent standard. For the six valence chromium exceed the standard (1-2mg/L) high multiples of the removal, considering the addition of ferrous sulfate in large quantity, from an economic point of view, can join10mg/L ferrous sulfate coagulation sedimentation tank, the filter before the vote of powdered activated carbon with0.035g~0.35g to meet the emission standard.(4) To put forward the unified treatment measures that is the treatment of heavy metal pollution of sudden emergency.
