| Over the past decade, the senior high school education has been developing rapidlyalong with the popularity of compulsory education and higher education. Due to therapid process of urban and rural integration, the fundamental education facilities areserious imbalance in practical use. Thus, the planning of school layout adjustment iscarried out across the country. In order to convert the decentralized model to thecentralized one, the education funds and resources are amassed by the combing schoolpolicy. In this process, the super-scale high schools have more than3000students and50classes are common. However, in the aspect of school building, especially for theconstruction of special classroom which is an important part of teaching space, there areno standards for reference. Therefore, how to make the special classroom adapted toexpansion of senior high school and satisfied requirements of new high schooleducation, so as to improve the school construction standards, have importanttheoretical and practical significance.Based on upper background, the special classroom of super-scale high school wasselected as the research object to expand spatial planning research in this paper. At first,the educational development process and classroom development model in high schoolsat home and abroad were summarized to provide new ideas for the development of thespecial classroom; secondly, the research results gained by domestic and foreignscholars were gathered, and statistics was used to confirm that the super-scale highschool was common and increased continuously. What’s more, the new characteristicsof super-scale high school in the aspects of educational resources, organization,management and class size brought new changes in the quantity, content, size and organizational structure of the special classrooms. On the basis of the theory mentionedabove, periodical field investigation was carried out to analyze the layout status, usageand curriculum of super-scale high school special classrooms, and then existingproblems and improvement suggestions were summarized to foreshadow the followingsolving strategies. On the issue of quantity problem of super-scale high school specialclassrooms, preliminary formulas were generated based on the data of the investigationcases. On the issue of content problem, the concept of multiple functionality of thespecial classroom, contrasted with the traditional one, was proposed and the design ofcomposite space was achieved by combing and separating space. On the issue of areaproblem, the concept of spatial variability was proposed according to the relevantstandards and the design of the variable space was realized using modular system,special classroom-corridor integration and flexible components. On the issue ofcombined layout problem, the design principle and adaptive mode were summarizedbased on the investigation cases, and the future trends were discussed. At last,representative examples were described in detail to confirm the theory. The presentstudy offered a realistic meaning reference for the space planning of the super-scalehigh school special classroom. |
