Tracked self-moving power is a new type of power supply vehicle. It has a varietyof functions and can stabilized running on all terrain. In many occasions, electricity isnecessary, so the self-moving power can play a big role. If it has more superiorperformance, it can be more widely used. In order to improve its performance, it isnecessary to layout design its main parts with advanced technology. It has a greatsignificance to the product upgrading and the efficiency’s improve.This paper introduced the characteristics of the self-moving power. And theresearch status of the layout problem and parameterized design technology was alsointroduced. The classification of the layout constraints and the packing problem of theself-moving power are researched. Based on analyzing the constraint conditions of thetracked self-moving power, its layout optimization mathematical model was set up.The theory of genetic algorithm is studied. Also, the advantages and the algorithmflow of the elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm are analyzed. The elitistnon-dominated sorting genetic algorithm is used to solve the packing problem. And itcan solve the layout optimization problem preferably. The development process of thegraphical user interface is researched, and the special interface of the layoutoptimization is developed with MATLAB. The interface works well, and alsoimproving the optimized layout’s efficiency. The key technologies that used in systemdevelopment are analyzed, and the application that these in this paper are studied. Thesecondary development technology of Pro/ENGINEER is studied. And it is designedthat the parametric design system of the tracked self-moving power’s layout. Thesystem can realize the tracked self-moving power’s layout automatically. In theprocess of the tracked self-moving power’s layout, the system can improve the trackedself-moving power’s design efficiency and visualizing effect.
